The Planet Crafter

The Planet Crafter has been receiving a consistent stream of major content since its April 10, 2024 release. Miju Games has shipped three major paid/free content milestones: the Planet Humble DLC (October 9, 2024), the Toxicity DLC (November 17, 2025), and the free 2.0 Update (April 6, 2026). The team also delivered the free Skeo moon update on September 1, 2026, adding a whole new moon to terraform with its own lore, machines, resources, and species. Crucially, the September 14, 2026 patch post — the most recent developer communication — explicitly states: "This should be the final patch for the Skeo update, we'll now be working on our next DLC!" This is a direct, unambiguous statement that new paid content is currently in development. The March 12, 2026 roadmap had already signaled this, noting that after the Skeo moon, the team planned to release a new DLC (plus a small surprise in between). The studio celebrated 2 million copies sold in June 2026 and has a team of seven actively engaged with the game. All three paid and free content commitments from the March 2026 roadmap (2.0 Update, free Skeo moon, new DLC) have either shipped or are now in active development, with the DLC being the next item on the list. Miju Games has delivered on every announced content goal since launch, and the developer has now explicitly confirmed the next DLC is underway.
