TRYP FPV: Drone Racer Simulator has been in Early Access since June 30, 2022 and remains actively in development. UNDEAD BATTERY has maintained a consistent pattern of major content updates roughly every 6 months: a new area in November 2022, a physics and UI overhaul in December 2023, online leaderboards and new maps in December 2024, new real-world spots in June 2025, another major immersion update in December 2025, and the most recent large update on June 2, 2026 — which added new locations, a full LiPo battery simulation, propeller damage, a new OSD editor, and notes the aerodynamic rework is still in progress. The developer has been transparent throughout about their priorities and roadmap. A June 2024 developer statement confirmed that physics accuracy became the top priority, with multiplayer and a map editor deliberately delayed until aerodynamics goals were met. The December 2025 major update explicitly flagged multiplayer (in beta), a map editor, and a UI rework as upcoming features. These commitments remain outstanding with active development clearly ongoing. The studio is also engaged in a research partnership with ONERA (a French aerospace agency) for wind tunnel-based physics improvements, further signaling continued long-term development ambition.
