FPV SkyDive : FPV Drone Simulator

FPV SkyDive launched on May 31, 2021 as a free-to-play drone simulator and has been in continuous, active development ever since. ORQA has shipped a consistent stream of major content updates over the years, including: The Heatwave Update with the Miami Heatwave map (June 18, 2025), Update 2.7 celebrating one million users with a new Oil Rig map and micro drone content (April 1, 2025), the Drone Soccer DLC — a fully new competitive game mode — (November 6, 2025), the Realistic System v1 physics overhaul with battery drain and damage simulation (December 23, 2025), and the major Update 2.9 introducing revolutionary mouse-based flight controls and an overhauled intro experience (May 19, 2026). The most recent developer communication is a feature patch (Update 2.9.2) published on September 21, 2026 — today — adding an expanded ghost drone system and a new track preview system. This establishes a pattern of major releases roughly every 2–6 months, with regular feature patches and bug fixes in between. In January 2026, ORQA also announced a structural shift to an in-app purchase system for maps, signaling ongoing investment in the game's content delivery infrastructure. The FPV.Ctrl PASS program explicitly promises "continuous, unrestricted content updates" and lifetime access to all future DLCs for hardware owners, which is a direct developer commitment to ongoing content. All four DLCs currently listed on the store are released, but the overall update pattern shows no signs of slowing — ORQA continues to ship new maps, game modes, physics systems, and features at a regular pace with no indication that development is winding down.
