Tube Tycoon

Tube Tycoon launched on March 28, 2018 as a casual simulation game. After a period of silence stretching years, the developer announced a major free update — Tube Tycoon v2.0 — on March 28, 2024, and followed it with weekly feature reveal posts throughout April 2024. Beta 1 of v2.0 launched on April 24, 2024, with new features including a full storyline, redesigned recording mechanics, and a reworked TubeVideo interface. A patch (Build 13) was released on April 27, 2024 to address issues reported during the beta. On May 2, 2024, the developer posted confirming they had started work on Beta 2 and were continuing to collect player feedback. That post described Beta 2 as the next step toward the final, full v2.0 release. Since May 2, 2024, there have been no further updates, patch notes, or announcements from the developer. Beta 2 has not been released, and the full v2.0 update has not shipped. The game also contains a spoiler note in one of the feature reveal posts referencing features planned for "later betas," confirming that additional content was intended beyond Beta 1. Given over two years of silence since the last communication, it is unclear whether development of v2.0 is continuing.
