Evaluation
TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan entered Early Access on March 19, 2018 and officially launched (version 1.00) on December 17, 2018. During Early Access, Krome Studios shipped several feature updates adding replayable boss fights, character and vehicle customization, new achievements, trading cards, and extensive HD texture improvements. The 1.0 launch post on December 17, 2018 described it as the full release with no further content roadmap, though the developer mentioned "a couple of things afoot for TY that we're hoping to share in 2019" — a hint that turned out to refer to other games in the series (notably a TY1 Nintendo Switch Kickstarter launched alongside the August 2019 patch). The last developer communication was a feature patch on August 6, 2019 (v1.01), which added French language support and fixed several bugs. Since that date — August 6, 2019 — there have been no further developer posts, announcements, or updates of any kind. The only DLC ever listed (the official soundtrack) was released at launch on December 17, 2018 and remains the sole DLC. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no outstanding content commitments, and no developer statements indicating future updates. The game launched as a complete remaster of the original title, and post-launch activity consisted of polish and bug fixing rather than a sustained content expansion cycle. The last meaningful update shipped on August 6, 2019, which is the most reasonable date to mark the game as fully complete.
Evidence
Final developer post: v1.01 patch adding French language support and several bug fixes. Also announced a Kickstarter for TY1 on Nintendo Switch — the '2019 things afoot' appear to have been about other games in the series, not new TY3 content.
Game officially launched from Early Access as version 1.00, with the soundtrack DLC and bundles simultaneously released. No future content roadmap was announced.
