ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 released on Steam on March 6, 2017 as a complete package explicitly bundling all previously released DLC and the Marvel vs. Capcom: Official Complete Works art book. The store description markets this as a "fully loaded" release — a port of the 2011 console game with all content included from day one. On June 15, 2026, Capcom pushed an update adding Windows 11 compatibility verification and bug fixes — the first developer activity since a minor patch in April 2017. However, just two days later on June 17, 2026, Capcom reverted that update due to unspecified "operational issues." More notably, they stated they will "review our future plans and provide further updates at a later time." This language goes beyond a typical patch rollback and suggests the studio is actively reconsidering its maintenance plans for the game. Whether this refers to the Windows 11 compatibility work specifically or the game's broader future on PC is unclear. No new content has been announced, and the store listing remains complete as-is — but the recent communication introduces genuine uncertainty about whether even basic compatibility maintenance will continue.
