Waveform launched on March 20, 2012 as a complete action-puzzle game with over 100 levels. Shortly after launch, the developer announced a free DLC pack called Eris, which added a new planet, new levels, and new content. That DLC was released and became available to early purchasers, with the free period ending around June 1, 2012. Both pieces of DLC — the Eris content pack and the soundtrack — are fully released. No further content has ever been announced, and the developer's last meaningful communication was on May 31, 2012. There has been no developer activity of any kind since then. The game launched as a finished product and received one bonus content drop in its first few months; all of that content has since shipped. There are no unreleased DLC items, no outstanding commitments, and no indication that further development was ever planned.
