Windlands 2

Windlands 2 launched on November 15, 2018 and received one named free content expansion — The Master Hunter Trials — on June 26, 2019, which added six new challenge courses. After that, the developer continued to issue periodic technical patches: bHaptics support in April 2020, cross-platform play between Steam VR, Quest, and Rift in January 2024, a networking stability fix in May 2024, and a minor smooth-turning improvement on June 26, 2024. That June 2024 patch represents the last update to Windlands 2 itself. The April 2, 2025 developer post was an announcement for a brand-new, separate game called Titan Isles — a spiritual successor set in a new world with new mechanics. This post contains no mention of further updates or content for Windlands 2. With no unreleased DLC listed on the store, no announced future content for Windlands 2, and the developer's attention visibly shifted to Titan Isles, the game appears to have reached the end of its content cycle. The only DLC on record is the original soundtrack, which released alongside the game at launch. There is no sustained cadence of major content releases that would suggest more is coming — only a single free DLC was ever added in the game's lifetime, nearly five years before the last communication. Windlands 2 is a complete, finished product.
