Pixel Dungeon VR launched on May 27, 2025 and received a series of updates through its first year: feature patches in July 2025, a batch of six cosmetic and supporter DLC packs in January 2026, and a final cosmetic DLC (Cyber Punk Pack) on April 23, 2026. In November 2025, the developer stated "More content will bring in this year!" — referring to 2025 content plans. The content that followed (the January 2026 DLC wave and the April 2026 Cyber Punk Pack) plausibly fulfilled that promise. There have been no developer communications since April 23, 2026 — nearly five months of silence as of today, September 17, 2026. The game's update history shows no sustained cadence of major content releases: there were two feature patches (February and July 2025), a bug fix (July 2025), and cosmetic DLC packs (January–April 2026). There is no recognizable interval between major content drops that would suggest another release is imminent. No new content has been announced, no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing, and the developer has not indicated any ongoing development plans beyond what has already shipped.
