Witchtastic launched into full release on October 26, 2021. Since then, the two-person team at Red Fur Games has continued to support the game with patches and, most recently, a substantial free content update. The game's post-launch history includes a Steam Deck compatibility update (August 8, 2022), a tech patch adding quality-of-life improvements and new localizations (June 2, 2023), and — most significantly — the Arcade Update on February 8, 2025, which added 16 new bonus levels, Steam leaderboards, and a new end-game arcade area. That update was released as free content in response to player requests. In the February 2025 post, the developers were candid that they are now primarily focused on their second game, Fellowship of the Oak, and that delivering the Arcade Update was something they squeezed in despite being busy with that project. This strongly suggests Witchtastic is now content-complete — the team explicitly framed the Arcade Update as a community-driven addition made while working on something else, not as part of an ongoing content plan. The most recent developer communication is an August 21, 2025 announcement tied to a publisher anniversary sale event, which is promotional rather than a signal of new content. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future updates, and no roadmap for additional content. The store description contains no live-service or season-based elements. Given the developers' own statement that their focus has shifted to a second game, and the absence of any announced future content for Witchtastic, the game appears to be a complete, finished product as of the February 8, 2025 Arcade Update.
