Z: Steel Soldiers launched on August 1, 2014 as a reboot of the classic strategy game, shipping with a complete 30-level campaign. After launch, TickTock Games delivered a solid series of patches and feature updates through late 2015 — most notably adding Skirmish mode (first in beta with the May 2015 update, then fully polished in the November 4, 2015 "Big Autumn 2015 Update"), along with significant graphical improvements, AI/pathfinding overhauls, Steam Cloud Save support, and a true fog-of-war system. A final small bug-fix patch followed on November 9, 2015 to address resolution and DPI scaling issues. That November 9, 2015 patch is the last recorded developer communication. There are no DLC listings, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no further posts from the developer since that date. The game shipped as a complete product and has received no updates in over a decade, with the developer showing no signs of returning to it. No further content has been announced or implied.
