30XX launched out of Early Access on August 9, 2023. Since then, Batterystaple Games has delivered five major content updates: patch 1.1 (December 14, 2023) added new challenge characters, modes, and items; patch 1.2 (April 15, 2024) introduced the playable character Delta and new level variants; patch 1.3 (September 19, 2024) added the paid DLC character Dally along with Eternal Challenges and boss reworks; and patch 1.4 (February 21, 2026) introduced the entirely new Exile Mode. The gaps between major updates have been roughly 4 months, 5 months, 17 months — a variable but sustained cadence. As of October 8, 2026, it has been approximately 7.5 months since the last major update on February 21, 2026. That places the current gap within the range of the developer's historical update intervals. More directly, within the 1.4 patch notes, the developer stated that co-op support for Exile Mode is still being worked on, and added that "if it ends up being popular, we'll make more of it." No announcement of the game's conclusion has been made. All major updates beyond the Dally character DLC have been free to all players.
