AirBuccaneers originally launched as a paid game in December 2012, then transitioned to a free-to-play model on December 10, 2014 — the developer's last meaningful communication. That post, marking the game's two-year anniversary, also contained a cryptic line about "Ragnarok getting closer," but no concrete future content was announced. Of the 26 developer news posts on record, only one qualifies as a major content event (the free-to-play transition) and one as a bug fix (a Unity engine update in August 2013). There are no announced DLC, no unreleased content listings, no roadmaps, and no developer posts of any kind after December 10, 2014. The game launched as a finished multiplayer product and has seen no substantive development activity in well over a decade. It is complete as released.
