ARK Park launched on March 21, 2018 as a VR dinosaur park experience. In the months following launch, the developer shipped one notable update — a free locomotion patch on April 19, 2018 — and then announced and released a single free DLC called "Pterosaur Hill" on June 28, 2018, adding three new exploration maps, a battle map, new creatures, weapons, and items. That DLC represented the only major content expansion the game ever received. After June 2018, developer communications went almost entirely silent, with the sole exception being a minor bug fix on December 4, 2025 that corrected a 3D audio startup error. No roadmaps, additional DLC, or future content have ever been announced or listed on the store. The December 2025 patch is a maintenance update, not a content release. With only one major content drop in the game's history, no announced or unreleased content, and no developer statements indicating ongoing development plans, the game's content was effectively complete as of June 28, 2018 when the Pterosaur Hill DLC shipped.

Game Features:
- Explore the Expansive Scenery of ARK Park: Visit over 10 unique scenes alone or with a group of friends.
- Collect Dinosaur DNA, Gather Materials, and Craft Items: Collect DNA and materials from the dinosaurs you encounter on your excursions, trade them for Engrams at your base camp, then use those Engrams to craft helpful items.
- Raise Your Very Own Dinosaurs: During your excursions throughout the park, you may be lucky enough to collect a rare dino egg. Take good care of it until it hatches, and you’ll be able to raise your own dinosaurs from hatchlings to adulthood. Some dinos may even grow to be large enough to ride!
- Defend Vital Technology: Dinosaurs aren’t the most docile creatures - band together with other ARK Park visitors to defend important research outposts and valuable technology from rampaging dinos!
