Evaluation

Baking Bad launched into Early Access on February 19, 2026. The developer (FunkyArmor) acknowledged at launch that the game was not in the most stable state and committed to ongoing stabilization and content updates. They followed through with a stability patch on March 5, 2026, and then on April 30, 2026 made a significant announcement: a large-scale overhaul update they're calling "REHEATED." This update is described as a comprehensive rework of nearly every major system — an entirely new map built from scratch, a complete cooking overhaul with new stations and automation, a full rework of the NPC selling system, major visual upgrades, and additions including RV customization, guns, real building interiors, new cars, and new police. The developer stated they will continue making smaller updates to the current version while REHEATED is in development, and that some REHEATED features may appear in the current version before the big update ships. The developer's most recent communication was on April 30, 2026, and they are clearly in active Early Access development with a substantial named update committed to and in progress.
