Brigador Killers

Brigador Killers launched into Early Access on August 20, 2026, and Stellar Jockeys has been actively communicating with players ever since. The developer released a hotfix on August 21, another on August 25, and on August 28 published a detailed post responding to player feedback — all within the first week of launch. The August 28 post (the most recent developer communication, as of today's assessment date) confirms that a further hotfix is planned for the following week and a content update is scheduled for the end of September 2026. The developer explicitly acknowledges that the current Early Access build is intentionally gated — certain vehicles, character rigs (carmine, cinderblock, spacer), and content visible in the demo were deliberately restricted for progression and balance reasons, with the clear intent to unlock and expand them over time. The original Early Access launch post on August 20 laid out a detailed roadmap for the EA period: additional story campaign content, new enemy factions, reintroduction of disabled rigs, replacement of remaining placeholder art, and localization into six languages (with more planned). Longer-term goals targeting a 1.0 release include Linux support, full controller and Steam Deck support, modding tools, and achievements. On July 31, the developer stated they expect to remain in Early Access for the rest of 2026 and have not announced a 1.0 date. The game is actively being updated and has a clearly communicated, substantial list of content and features still to come before it reaches its intended final state.
