Children of Silentown launched on January 11, 2023 as a complete, self-contained point-and-click adventure game. The developer explicitly stated in October 2022 that the PC version had "gone Gold" and was complete ahead of release. The game shipped with a Supporter Pack and Soundtrack DLC on launch day — both of which are already released, and no further DLC has been announced or listed.
After launch, Elf Games released several patches addressing bugs and adding quality-of-life improvements (such as chapter select and minigame skip after completing the game), culminating in a one-year anniversary patch in January 2024. The most recent developer communication on record is that January 2024 anniversary post. Since then, the developer has gone quiet, but this is consistent with a finished, narrative-driven indie game that was never designed to receive ongoing post-launch content.
There is no roadmap, no announced expansions, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statements suggesting additional content is planned. The game launched as a finished product and has been supported only with bug fixes and minor polish updates. All content appears to have been complete at launch on January 11, 2023.
