Evaluation

Cloudheim entered Steam Early Access on December 4, 2025. Since launch, Noodle Cat Games has maintained a very high development cadence, shipping major content updates roughly every 2–6 weeks. The most recent major additions include the WorldShare feature (April 22, 2026), the Eldmyr Update bringing a new island and a new roguelite mode called Runari Rush (June 1, 2026), the Greeball Games limited-time event with new cosmetics and a new Runari Rush map (June 25, 2026), and multiple feature and bug-fix patches through July 14, 2026 — the most recent developer communication on record. The developer published a pre-launch roadmap outlining substantial planned content that has not yet shipped, including new islands (Myrkstorm and Pyregard) and an eventual 1.0 release with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X console support. The Haven Update post (March 4, 2026) also noted that progression changes were "the first step toward deeper progression updates planned throughout Early Access," confirming ongoing development intent beyond what has already shipped. The game remains in Early Access, the developer is actively posting and patching, and several roadmap commitments are still outstanding. This is a game in healthy, active Early Access development with no signs of slowing down.

About this game

Ragnarok shattered the world. Rise as a Runari to rebuild it. Master chaotic physics-based combat inspired by Zelda and Devil May Cry. Explore islands and dungeons, smash monsters, loot and craft powerful gear, and grow your home in the sky. Play solo or online co-op with up to 4 players.

Master the Chaos

Unleash mayhem in a reactive, breakable world. Chain abilities into brutal team combos. Smash pillars onto monsters, lasso enemies into tornadoes, send enemies flying across the map, fire Greebles out of cannons, or kick exploding barrels into the fray.

Rise Together

Join up to three friends in online co-op. Share every weapon and ability you unlock as you grow stronger together and discover new playable Runari. Turn on Unbridled Chaos to lasso your friends in combat, because they deserve it.

Forge Infinite Possibilities

Build your workshop on Odin Shell, the ancient turtle who has summoned you to restore the world. With visual crafting, you'll never have to wait for a friend stuck in a menu. Forge tons of weapons, gear, and powerful abilities to use in battle or sell them to fund your journey.

Explore the Realms

Link the Bifrost gates to unlock new islands and handcrafted dungeons that rearrange every visit, including that one room you swore you cleared already. Solve puzzles, fight challenging enemies, and grab valuable loot as you travel from the icy peaks of Frostvaldr to the deserts of Dustlanger to find the gods.

Run a Fantasy Shop

Turn a tiny stall into the most famous shop in the skies. Stock shelves, fill orders, charm customers, and watch your reputation spread as the best (and only) store in the skies.

Team Up with Fantastic Creatures

Blins keep your shop running and Gnasher devours anything you find (and vomits up treasure in return, a fair trade). Chaos is great for business.

There’s Fishing

Very important feature.
