Creative Destruction was a free-to-play battle royale game that operated as a live service from its August 2018 launch through mid-2022. On April 27, 2022, the developer (NetEase Games) published an official closure announcement stating that servers would permanently shut down on June 27, 2022. As part of the wind-down, in-game purchases and new registrations were disabled on April 27, 2022, and all account and character data was erased upon shutdown. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam, confirming it has been removed from the storefront. The developer's closure announcement was unambiguous and final — no subsequent posts walked it back or announced a revival.
