Creatures Docking Station

Creatures Docking Station is a re-release of a classic 2001 game that came to Steam on December 7, 2021. Since launch, the developer (Gameware Europe) has been actively maintaining and improving the game, shipping a steady stream of feature patches addressing ecology bugs, gameplay systems, and quality-of-life improvements, as well as one major free DLC — the Creator Tools pack, which released on August 12, 2023. The most recent developer communication was a small update to the Creator Tools on June 11, 2024, which refreshed two included tools with newer versions. No new content or future updates have been announced since that post. All four DLC listings are marked as released, and the store description does not reference any planned additions. The developer's last substantive statement about future plans was in December 2021, when they noted a "laundry list" of improvements to work through — a commitment that appears to have been fulfilled through 2022–2024 patching activity. The game is a free-to-play re-release of a finished classic title. Its update history reflects a restoration and polish effort rather than an ongoing live content pipeline. With all listed DLC shipped, no unreleased content on the store, no developer roadmap for future additions, and developer activity having wound down after the June 2024 Creator Tools update, the game appears to have reached a complete state.
