Cubic Cosmos launched into Steam Early Access in September 2025 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on April 28, 2026. During Early Access, the developer shipped four major content updates at a consistent cadence, adding new heroes, new game modes (Act III), the Variant Relic and Doll Deployment systems, gamepad support, and significant card and balance content. Post-1.0, the developer has kept up a strong update rhythm. On July 17, 2026, they shipped v1.1.0 — the first major post-launch content update — adding a new hero skill for War Wraith, a Card Replacement feature, eight new class cards, six improved card variants, and a new monster. This was followed by a feature and balance patch (v1.1.4) on August 13, 2026, just six days before today's assessment date. The 1.0 launch post explicitly stated the team's intent to continue: "New cards? New Relics? More customizable gameplay modes? We've got a couple of ideas." The developer has not announced any specific named DLC or expansion, but the sustained update cadence — four major content drops during Early Access plus a major post-1.0 update within roughly 3 months of launch — clearly indicates ongoing development. No statement marking the conclusion of content work has been made.
