Dream Sketcher launched on August 25, 2023 and was actively developed through early 2024. The developer shipped two paid DLC packs — "The Lost Opera" on December 7, 2023 and "Book of Silence" on January 15, 2024 — along with several balance and feature patches. The last developer communication of any kind was a balance patch posted on January 19, 2024.
Since January 19, 2024, there has been complete silence from RisingPunch Studio. Both DLC packs are now released, so there is no announced unshipped content. However, the studio had maintained an active presence throughout its development cycle, posting updates every few weeks to a couple of months — making this silence of over two years highly unusual. The December 2023 DLC announcement also ended with the note that "new scripts, characters, and cards are also being produced," suggesting more content was in the pipeline at the time. There has been no follow-up on that intent, no further DLC announcements, and no statement that development has concluded.
Given the abrupt and prolonged silence following what appeared to be ongoing development plans, it is unclear whether the studio is still active or whether the game has been quietly abandoned.
