Earth Defense Force 6 launched on July 25, 2024 with a base game and 12 weapon/equipment DLC items released on day one. The developer then shipped two paid mission packs: Additional Mission Pack 1 "Lost Days" on August 29, 2024, and Additional Mission Pack 2 "Visions of Malice" on October 17, 2024. These represent the full post-launch content offering for the game — all 14 DLC items in the store listing are marked as released, and no further DLC or expansions have been announced or listed.
Since October 2024, the developer's Steam news channel has been used almost exclusively to promote other D3PUBLISHER titles (Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 and Full Metal Schoolgirl), with only one EDF6-specific post — a September 2025 technical notice about an AWS certificate change affecting online play. This maintenance notice confirms the developer is still supporting the game's online infrastructure, but it is not an indication of new content.
No roadmap, season pass, or announcement of additional content beyond the two mission packs has been made.
