Ghosts of Tabor entered Steam Early Access on March 20, 2023 and remains firmly in Early Access — the game's current version is 0.14.0, well below a 1.0 release. The Steam Early Access flag is still active. Combat Waffle Studios has maintained an exceptionally active development pace throughout the Early Access period. Major "wipe" updates — each introducing substantial new content — have shipped at roughly 2–4 month intervals. The most recent, Wipe 10 (version 0.14.0), was deployed on August 26, 2026 (today), adding a brand-new map (Sazava Valley), a new weapon (M1a Socom), a new weather system (Weather 2.0), ammo bundle mechanics, and dozens of new lootable items, among many other features. Prior major wipes arrived on April 22, 2026 (v0.13.0), December 18, 2025 (v0.12.0), July 30, 2025 (v0.11.0), and April 16, 2025 (v0.10.0). Between these wipes, the developer has consistently shipped feature patches and bug fixes. The December 2025 wipe post explicitly stated that the team anticipated "an even bigger 2026," which has been borne out by the activity since. The DLC catalog shows 20 released items, the most recent being the Supporter Pack on May 18, 2026, with crossover collaborations (Terminator, PAYDAY, Splinter Cell) indicating active commercial partnerships. All current DLC are cosmetic in nature, and no unreleased DLC are listed. There is no indication from the developer that a 1.0 launch is imminent or that development is winding down. The game continues to receive substantial content additions on a regular cadence.
