Hack, Slash, Loot originally launched on April 5, 2012. The game received no meaningful updates for nearly eight years, until the developer shipped a major update on November 13, 2020 (Version 10: x64 Update). In that update post, the developer explicitly described the Steam version as "the definitive version of Hack, Slash, Loot" and folded in previously separate DLC characters, a shelved quest, and features from the mobile version. The update also deprecated the 32-bit version, signaling the end of further platform support changes. No new content has been announced or released since November 13, 2020, and no further updates of any kind have appeared. The developer has made no communications since that date. Given the game's history of extremely infrequent updates and the developer's own framing of this release as a final, complete package, the game appears to be done.
