King Arthur's Gold launched in November 2013 and went free-to-play on April 17, 2019, at which point the developer committed to ongoing community-driven development. This establishes a cadence of roughly one major update per year between 2020 and 2023. The last substantive KAG update was August 30, 2023. Every developer communication since then — news posts from January 14, 2025, September 15, 2025, and February 5, 2026 — has been cross-promotion for Jackal, a separate new game by the same creator, with no mention of planned KAG content. The silence on KAG specifically now extends from August 30, 2023 to today, October 8, 2026 — over three years. This is well beyond three times the established 1-year update cadence. The developer has not made any statement announcing KAG is finished, but the complete absence of any KAG-related communication or updates for over three years, combined with the creator's evident focus on launching and promoting a new title, indicates the game has settled into a completed state with no further content in development. The three cosmetic DLC packs (released 2017, 2018, 2019) are all shipped. There are no unreleased DLC listings.
