Miner Meltdown

Miner Meltdown launched out of Early Access on August 2, 2017, and received several updates in the following years. The developer (Mighty Pebble Games) shipped a steady stream of feature patches and content updates through 2017 and into 2018, including a new game mode (Diamond Dash) in April 2017, the full 1.0 launch with the Crazy King game mode in August 2017, and a seasonal Christmas update in December 2018. In January 2018, the developer mentioned working on a new game mode, but no follow-up announcement or release of that content was ever made. In August 2019, publisher Throwback Entertainment acquired the game and expressed interest in taking it to "new heights and platforms." On January 7, 2020, Throwback ran community play date events — the last official communication from either the developer or publisher on record. Since that date (January 7, 2020), there have been no further announcements, updates, patches, or developer communications of any kind. The one DLC listed — the official soundtrack — was released on January 9, 2018, and no further DLC has been announced or released. Given that the most recent developer-side communication was on January 7, 2020, and no content or platform expansions promised by Throwback ever materialized, the game appears to have reached the end of its active support cycle. It remains purchasable and playable as a complete product.
