Evaluation
Nevrosa: Prelude is a short VR puzzle-horror experience that launched on February 23, 2017 as a standalone "prelude" to a larger planned Nevrosa game. The store description explicitly positions it as a preview meant to prepare players for a "full-time escape-horror experience that will finish the story." That follow-up game, Nevrosa: Escape, was released on December 26, 2017, fulfilling the promise of a sequel.
Post-launch, the developer shipped three support DLCs on April 11, 2017 — a Support DLC, a Wallpaper Pack, and a 3D Print Collectable — alongside Oculus Rift controller support. These represent the entirety of post-launch content for Nevrosa: Prelude specifically.
Since April 2017, there have been no updates, patches, or announcements directed at Nevrosa: Prelude itself. The developer's subsequent news posts on this game's page have been exclusively about other titles in the Nevrosa universe (Nevrosa: Escape, Nevrosa: Spider Song, Nevrosa: Primal Ritual) and an entirely separate VR action game, Hard Bullet. All three DLCs are released, and the developer has not announced any further content for this title. The last developer communication touching this game's own content was on April 11, 2017.
Given that the game was designed as a short introductory experience with a defined scope, its sequel has long since shipped, and the developer has moved on to subsequent projects without any indication of returning to add content to Nevrosa: Prelude, this title is complete.
Evidence
Nevrosa: Escape, the promised full follow-up game, launched on Steam. The original Prelude's stated purpose as a lead-in to this title was fulfilled.
Developer released three DLCs (Support, Wallpaper Pack, 3D Print Collectable) and noted active work on Nevrosa: Escape as the next project. This is the last post referencing Nevrosa: Prelude content directly.
