NGU IDLE

NGU IDLE launched on Steam on October 1, 2019 and received a steady stream of major content updates over the following two years. On June 26, 2021, developer 4G shipped Build 1.260 titled "Lore's End," which added the final two Titans, the final feature (Cooking), boss portraits for bosses 270–300, and the final lore entries. The patch notes explicitly state "THE END now exists" and "I guess... you can beat NGU IDLE now," with the developer signing off with "feels surreal." This is a clear, unambiguous developer statement that the game's content is complete. In January 2021, 4G had also announced a sequel — NGU INDUSTRIES — which launched into Early Access on April 5, 2021. The developer noted at the time that they would be pausing NGU IDLE updates to focus on the sequel, further reinforcing that NGU IDLE's development cycle was winding down toward its conclusion. The June 2021 "final update" followed naturally from that announcement. No DLC is listed, no unreleased content has been announced, and no further developer communications about NGU IDLE content have appeared since June 26, 2021. The game shipped as a free-to-play title with a complete, self-contained content arc that the developer has explicitly closed out.
