Our Love Will Grow launched on December 4, 2015 as a complete farming/simulation game. Its only DLC, the Farmer's Handbook, was released on the same day as the game itself. Developer John Wizard's post-launch communications — from March through April 2016 — focused entirely on announcing and releasing a sequel, Melting Hearts: Our Love Will Grow 2, which launched on April 30, 2016. The developer has not announced any additional content for the original game, and there have been no developer posts directed at this title since April 2016. The game launched as a finished product, with no post-launch content updates or expansions released beyond the day-one DLC handbook. Development activity moved to the sequel.
