Evaluation

Outcore: Desktop Adventure launched as a free-to-play game on September 26, 2022. All three DLC items on the store are supporter packs (a clown nose cosmetic, an OST pack, and a deluxe supporter pack), all released at launch in September–October 2022. There are no unreleased DLC items. The developer has continued to maintain the game with periodic patches — fixing bugs, rebalancing the final boss difficulty (most recently on May 19, 2026), improving save file stability (most recently on September 18, 2026), and adding localizations. These are polish and maintenance updates for a finished product, not new story or major content expansions. The developer's creative focus has fully shifted to Dead Watch, the sequel, which was announced in June 2025 and received a public demo on February 2, 2026. Developer news posts from 2026 are primarily about Dead Watch's development progress — chapter 2 content completion, a new character (Zlonki), and a revised release estimate of mid-2027 for the full game. Outcore itself appears only as a recipient of minor maintenance fixes bundled into these sequel update posts. The April 2024 post teased a new content update referencing a mysterious door in the school chapter, but no such content was ever formally announced, shipped, or mentioned again. Given the developer's subsequent full pivot to Dead Watch, this appears to have been quietly set aside. No outstanding commitments to new Outcore content exist in any developer communication.
Evidence
All three DLC items are supporter packs released at launch (September–October 2022); no unreleased DLC on the store.
