OVERWHELM

OVERWHELM launched on June 11, 2018 and received a handful of updates in its first two years. The developer shipped two meaningful content updates post-launch: a Halloween Update on October 27, 2018 adding a New Game+ mode and other features, and an Anniversary Update on July 18, 2019 adding local co-op. The last communication of any kind from the developer was a small bug fix patch on January 17, 2020, which fixed language support and a few crashes. Since that date — now over six years ago — there have been no further announcements, patches, or developer communications of any kind. The early launch post from June 13, 2018 mentioned "more plans to update and expand," but that general statement was almost certainly referring to the updates that subsequently shipped (Halloween Update and Anniversary Update). With more than six years of silence following the final patch, and no unreleased DLC or outstanding commitments visible anywhere, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
