Three major content drops followed launch: the Basement update on December 21, 2023, the Seaside Business DLC on May 15, 2024, and a feature-rich patch in January 2025 adding key bindings, autosave, drones, and AI improvements. A November 2024 developer post confirmed the team had resumed full work on the game after a quiet period, signaling continued engagement at that time.
However, from mid-2025 onward, the developer's attention visibly shifted to a sequel. The studio announced Parking Tycoon 2 in June 2025, reannounced it in October 2025, and launched it on March 27, 2026. No further updates, patches, or content announcements for the original game have appeared since January 2025 — a gap of over 17 months as of today. The sole DLC listed on the store (Seaside Business) has been released, and no additional DLC or content for the original game has been announced.
