Shuyan Saga™

Shuyan Saga originally launched on PC in August 2017. After a couple of post-launch patches in 2017-2018 that added achievements, trading cards, and Mandarin voice-over, the game was quiet for several years. On September 22, 2023, the developer released a major revitalized version of the game across consoles (PS4/PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), simultaneously delivering a free update to PC players. This console release added new story content (the Jade Temple Adventure), a new gameplay mode (Jade's Dungeon Descent), optimized combat controls, improved UI, and additional language support. The PC version also had its existing DLC made free as part of this update. The store description reflects all of these improvements. There has been no developer communication since September 2023, and no unreleased DLC or announced future content exists. The single DLC — a soundtrack pack — shipped on the original release date in 2017. The September 2023 console launch represented a comprehensive content refresh that effectively completed the game's post-launch development. No roadmaps, promises of future updates, or outstanding commitments have been made since then.
