Spacelines from the Far Out

Spacelines from the Far Out launched on June 9, 2022 and received a healthy run of post-launch updates over the following year. The developer shipped five major content updates: the base game launch (June 9, 2022), a Halloween season event in Update 1.4 (October 18, 2022), a Holiday Special in Update 1.5 (December 20, 2022), and the comprehensive Patch 1.6 (April 6, 2023) which added paint jobs, major UI overhauls, and extensive bug fixes, followed by a hotfix on April 7, 2023. A roadmap posted shortly after launch on June 18, 2022 promised several features and content additions — all of which appear to have been delivered across the 1.2–1.6 patch series (online matchmaking, new ship content, new upgrades, paint jobs, etc.). The only DLC items listed are a soundtrack and a digital artbook, both released at launch in June 2022. There are no unreleased DLC items on the store. The last developer communication of any kind was the hotfix on April 7, 2023, and the last major content update was Patch 1.6 on April 6, 2023. There have been no developer posts, announcements, or roadmap updates since April 2023 — over three years of silence as of June 2026. The developer has made no statements about future content or continued development since that final patch, and the original roadmap commitments from June 2022 were fulfilled by the time Patch 1.6 shipped. The game appears to have reached its content-complete state with the April 2023 update.
