Star Wars: Imperial Assault - Legends of the Alliance

Legends of the Alliance launched on December 4, 2017 as a companion app for the Star Wars: Imperial Assault board game. Between launch and November 2019, the developer shipped a steady stream of meaningful updates, including new campaigns (Jabba's Realm on August 7, 2018; Return to Hoth on January 21, 2019), a new Raid mode on July 5, 2019, and an additional raid ("The Gray Cap Cantina") on November 5, 2019. After November 5, 2019, no further campaigns, raids, or substantial new gameplay content were released. The game then went quiet for several years before two maintenance-only patches appeared: version 1.6.8 on October 13, 2025 (a game engine update with a graphics settings option) and version 1.6.9 on May 27, 2026 (a minor maintenance update). These patches are purely technical upkeep — they add no new game content — and neither is accompanied by any announcement of planned future content. The developer has made no statements suggesting additional campaigns, modes, or features are in the works. The pattern is consistent with a companion app that finished its content cycle in November 2019 and is now being kept technically compatible with modern devices.
