STONE launched on September 21, 2018 as a complete interactive story game — a self-contained narrative experience with no post-launch content roadmap or season pass. Convict Games shipped four free updates after launch: Update 001 (November 1, 2018) added a record shop and cinema tweaks, Update 002 (January 14, 2019) added multilingual subtitles, Update 003 (March 1, 2019) added a developer tour and graphical improvements, and Update 004 (June 20, 2019) added the Kuuma Sauna location. No updates of any kind have been released since June 20, 2019. Both DLC items (the Art Book and Screenplay) were released on launch day and are purely supplemental content. There are no unreleased DLC entries. Since mid-2019, Convict Games has shifted focus entirely to their next title, BURN, which they announced in December 2020, formally revealed in August 2021, and released on August 9, 2024. All developer communications on the STONE page since 2019 have been about BURN, not any new content for STONE. The game is a complete, finished product.
