Super Dungeon Bros launched on November 1, 2016 with all of its DLC (character packs and soundtrack bundles) available on day one. After launch, the developer React Games and publisher Wired Productions continued to support the game with patches and improvements through 2017, culminating in a substantial "Reloaded" update on September 22, 2017 that added a free Horde Mode, a new weapon class (Idols), new helmets, and significant performance and balance improvements. The final piece of content was the Idols weapon pack DLC, which released on January 18, 2018. There have been no game-specific updates, patches, or content announcements for Super Dungeon Bros since January 2018. The news posts from 2024 and 2025 visible on this game's Steam page are publisher-level announcements from Wired Productions promoting entirely different games in their catalogue (such as Gori: Cuddly Carnage, Hotel Architect, KARMA: The Dark World, and Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks). All six DLC items are released with no unreleased entries. The game launched as a complete product, received a meaningful post-launch content update cycle that concluded in early 2018, and has received no further content in the years since.
