Survival: Fountain of Youth reached its full 1.0 release on May 21, 2024, and the developer has kept adding free content since then. The Echoes of the Isles expansion shipped on October 8, 2024, and the Construction Mode update arrived on May 21, 2025. The 1.0 launch announcement called it the final steps of development for the team, but later announcements show a larger project still underway. On January 22, 2026, the developer announced a four-player co-op mode to be added to the base game as a free update. The August 13, 2026 announcement set the co-op launch for August 31, 2026, and said the first three regions would be fully available in co-op at launch, with the remaining two joining shortly after. On August 25, 2026, the developer said the release would be pushed back by one to two months to polish multiplayer and fix remaining issues, and promised a new date later. The co-op test is running as a separate playtest game on Steam, with the first region fully playable and the second region with limited content. On October 9, 2026, the developer reopened playtest sign-ups and said the game is getting closer to release. No final co-op release date has been announced, so the multiplayer update is still awaiting release.

Survival: Fountain of Youth invites you to embark on a thrilling adventure inspired by the historic Age of Discovery. After a shipwreck, you find yourself stranded on deserted islands, where you must master the art of survival. From crafting tools and building shelters to hunting prey and battling predators, every action counts.
Planning and carefully managing your hunger, energy, and thirst is key for any lost survivor. There is only so much you can do in one day: hunting, gathering resources, crafting new tools, and cooking will take precious time.
Yet survival is only the beginning… Once you’ve tended to your basic needs it’s time to explore the vast archipelago you ended up on.
Explore 11 islands, each with its own challenges: scorching Caribbean heat, relentless storms, malaria infested swamps and poisonous plants… The Bimini archipelago is full of hazards to overcome!
Prepare your expeditions, establish outposts on each region and roam the seas on unique vessels: from a primitive raft to a massive 16th century Spanish ship.
Dangerous animals, weather, plants, diseases, injuries, hunger, thirst, exhaustion — everything will test your strength and ability to survive. The archipelago is filled with wild dangerous beasts to hunt down and even more challenging animal bosses. You're the hunter here not the prey...
