SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream launched on October 3, 2024 with 21 playable characters, an original story, and online co-op modes for up to 20 players. Since launch, the developer delivered a consistent stream of post-launch paid content: Character Pass Vol. 1 (October 3, 2024), a costume set (October 2024), a second costume set (November 2024), Character Pass Vol. 2 (January 22, 2025), and four named story DLC packs in the "Worlds Beyond" series — shipping on October 16, 2024, January 22, 2025, April 23, 2025, and finally July 23, 2025. Seasonal gameplay updates accompanied this content, including Season 4 in July 2025 introducing the Quick Match feature.
All nine DLC items listed on the store are now released, with the most recent — "Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn" — shipping on July 23, 2025. No unreleased DLC remains on the store listing. The developer has not announced any further content for Fractured Daydream.
The June 2026 news posts concern a separate, upcoming game called "Echoes of Aincrad" — a new title with its own Steam page and demo. While it is published in the same SAO news feed, it is a distinct product, not additional content for Fractured Daydream.
