Tinkertown

Tinkertown launched out of Early Access on June 22, 2023 and has received a series of updates since then. The game's most significant post-launch release was the Tinkertown 2.0 update, which shipped on November 4, 2024. This was a substantial overhaul: a revamped world map, an entirely new Lava Biome with new dungeons, enemies, bosses, quests, weapons, armor, crafting content, and a major backend/performance rework. It also marked the game's simultaneous launch on Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Following 2.0, the team released several bug-fix patches through November 2024 (versions 2.0.2 and 2.0.3), and in October 2025 pushed a security patch to address a Unity engine vulnerability. Looking at the full post-launch history, the game shipped three identifiable major content releases: Update 1.1.0 (NPC happiness rewards, December 2023), and the 2.0 update (November 2024). The gap between 1.1.0 and 2.0 was approximately 11 months. The most recent major content release was 2.0 on November 4, 2024 — now more than 7 months ago as of June 2026. The only post-2.0 communication was a security patch on October 7, 2025, which was purely a maintenance/safety update and not a content signal.
