Evaluation
Voidtrain launched its full 1.0 release on November 7, 2025. Since then, the developer has maintained an active post-launch update cadence, releasing multiple quality-of-life patches and two paid DLC expansions.
The first post-launch DLC, "Tour de Void," released on February 19, 2026, added a Rofleemo tourist mechanic with new rewards, rail skins, and train decorations. A series of patches and hotfixes followed through March 2026, keeping the game in good repair.
Most recently, on September 15, 2026, the developer announced the next DLC — "Big Catch" — targeting an October 2026 release. This adds a fishing mechanic, species to catch from the train, an upgrade progression using a new "Scales" currency, and new train decorations and cosmetics. The DLC is already listed on the Steam store as an unreleased item. The developer also confirmed that all previously released expansions and this new DLC will come to the Epic Games Store as well.
The game has a clear pattern of delivering paid DLC content every few months after launch, and the next release is already confirmed with a specific timeframe.

BUILD YOUR TRAIN
You won't simply expand the train, but you'll build it yourself from scratch. Start with an empty trolley and develop it into a proper train with multiple wagons and an advanced engine. Customize the look of your train and fill it with all sorts of objects: from storages and workbenches to decorations and tables for mini games.
FIGHT TO SURVIVE
The Void is a dangerous place, and you’ll face a variety of enemies on your way: from regular soldiers to bloodthirsty sharks. Craft and customize your weapons and equipment, escape from being chased, stand against multiple enemy waves in the arenas, clear outposts and be prepared to constantly fight for your life.
