Evaluation
To the Core is a free-to-play student project released on July 23, 2018 by NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences. The store page explicitly describes it as "a free-to-play demo created as a student project" and includes a disclaimer stating: "Support is not guaranteed, as the team has since moved on to different projects and companies." This is a direct acknowledgment from the developer that the game is finished and the team has dispersed. Two small patches were released in the days immediately following launch (July 24 and July 25, 2018) to address early feedback and bugs, and there have been no developer communications of any kind since then. There is no DLC, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no ongoing update pattern. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained product.
