Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity launched on Steam on July 11, 2018 as a complete action RPG — a port of a previously finished fan-made game. Post-launch developer activity was limited to a language addition (Simplified and Traditional Chinese, added January 11, 2019) and a crash fix (January 22, 2019). There have been no developer communications of any kind since January 22, 2019, no DLC has ever been listed, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and no ongoing update pattern exists. The game shipped as a finished product, and the small amount of post-launch activity was purely maintenance and localization work. There is no indication that additional content was ever planned beyond the base game.

About this game
Infamous vampire Remilia Scarlet has grown weary of her posh, centuries-long life spent with dutiful maid Sakuya Izayoi at her side. So bored, in fact, that when the local newspaper runs a story about a massive monster spotted nearby, she decides she wants a piece of that action! Unfortunately, she returns home from her first foray to find her mansion heavily damaged, with no clues as to who the culprit might be. But this only serves to fan the flames of the vampiric maiden’s interest in what’s going on beyond the walls of her estate, leading her on a grand, chaotic quest for answers…and for revenge.
