Will To Live Online is a free-to-play Early Access MMORPG-shooter that has been in continuous development since its April 2018 launch. It remains explicitly marked as Early Access on Steam and is still versioned in the 0.7.x range, well below any 1.0 release state.
AlphaSoft LLC has maintained a highly active and consistent update cadence. The most recent major update — version 0.7.3, released on September 7, 2026 — brought back the RAID Recon Squad live event in two locations simultaneously, introduced new enemy mechanics (shields and grenades), and added a new type of loot (armor plates). This follows Update 0.7.1 on July 13, 2026, which added Adventure #2 (a hardcore permadeath PvE mission), a new live event, new ammunition, and numerous improvements.
Looking further back, the developer has shipped major content at a cadence of roughly every 1–4 months: the Adventures system launched on March 31, 2025 with Adventure #1, Adventure #3 arrived May 28, 2025, Adventure #4 on October 17, 2025, Adventure #2 on July 13, 2026, and the most recent update on September 7, 2026. Feature patches (armor modification systems, drone improvements, grenade mechanics, engine upgrades) have arrived even more frequently. The game also runs recurring seasonal events.
The developer has shown no indication of an approaching 1.0 launch, a content wind-down, or any studio difficulties. Developer communications are current and frequent, and the content being added is substantive — new game modes, locations, and systems — rather than maintenance-only patches.

Will To Live Online — MMORPG-shooter with elements of surviving, its story is set in wastelands of the post-apocalyptic world. Player has to explore the large open world, full of dangerous places, radiation, mutants, and armed survivors.
Hunger and thirst will not leave you sitting still, and dangerous anomalies will force you to be attentive and watch every step. You will face the fight for the right to survive in order to recognize your role in this severe world.
Explore the world and its history, complete quests, fight monsters and other survivors, obtain resources, make hunting and gathering, make trade and exchange with other players. Find new friends or mortal enemies.
You may create up to four characters of different classes, each of them has his unique characteristics, game style, and weapons. Develop your character to get access to the new weapon and new class abilities. Enter one of the hostile factions and protect its interests. Unite with friends to facilitate your life or make life difficult for other players. The choice is yours!
