Zafehouse: Diaries launched on September 6, 2013 as a finished, standalone product. The developer released a feature patch (v1.2.3) on October 23, 2013 adding an Item Editor, but no further updates to this specific game appear in the news history after that point. The studio moved on to new projects — Fear Equation was announced in August 2015, Zafehouse Diaries 2 (a full sequel) launched in June 2017, and Deadnaut: Signal Lost launched in March 2023. None of these are updates or expansions to Zafehouse: Diaries; they are separate games. The store description presents the game as a complete product with no mention of planned updates or additional content. There are no unreleased DLC listings. The game has been available for purchase continuously and the developer has not announced any future content for it. Screwfly Studios is still an active studio, but their work since 2013 has been on other titles, not this one.
