AC Sailing

AC Sailing launched on April 9, 2024 as the official game of the America's Cup e-Series. Since launch, the developer (Emirates Team New Zealand) has been consistently active, shipping a steady stream of updates. These include feature-bearing patches that have added global leaderboards, host migration, new race courses, tournament support, a profile/stats system, main menu environment upgrades, a full engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.6 (November 2025), and most recently tutorial and graphics enhancements in May 2026. The most recent patch was released on May 28, 2026, indicating the team is actively working on the game as of that date. Across 48 developer posts since launch, 11 have been feature patches — a clear pattern of ongoing development well beyond basic maintenance. No specific future DLC or named expansion has been announced, but the developer has not signaled that development is winding down. The short description also ties the game to the ongoing America's Cup e-Series, suggesting the game is designed to remain current alongside that real-world event series.
