Astroflux

Astroflux is a free-to-play MMO space shooter that launched on Steam on September 27, 2016. In the months following launch, the developer (Fula Fisken) was actively posting updates — balance patches, new ships, PvP system overhauls, and a Christmas event. The December 1, 2016 patch post explicitly listed upcoming content including three new player ships, a Vorsran balance patch, and "Three Emperors," indicating the developer had plans beyond what had shipped at that point. However, the last developer communication on Steam was on December 23, 2016 — more than nine years ago. None of the promised upcoming content was ever confirmed as shipped via Steam posts, and there has been no developer communication of any kind since then. For a live online game that by its nature requires ongoing server maintenance and content to remain viable, this extended silence is a serious concern. It is unclear whether the servers are still operational, whether the game is still being maintained, or whether development has quietly ceased. The game remains purchasable (it is free-to-play) and is not marked as Early Access, but the complete absence of developer communication since late 2016 raises significant questions about its current state.
