Eden Rising

Eden Rising launched out of Early Access on May 17, 2019 with a free Explorer Edition and a paid Ascendant Edition expansion. Both DLC entries — the Ascendant Expansion and the Crystal Weapons Pack — were released on that same launch date. After launch, the developer shipped one major post-launch content update: the Challenge of the Thulian Masters on January 28, 2020, which added a new procedural challenge zone, new bosses, new tech, and new weapons systems. That post acknowledged the team had "gone dark" for a period before delivering this update. No further developer communications, patches, announcements, or content releases appear in the 49 news posts scanned after January 28, 2020 — a silence of over six years as of today (June 28, 2026). No future content was announced or teased alongside that final update. All DLC is released and no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing. The developer has not announced any additional content, roadmap, or continuation of development. Given the prolonged silence well beyond any reasonable update cadence, the game appears to have reached its final state with the January 2020 update.
