Omega Crafter

Omega Crafter launched into Early Access on March 28, 2024 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on May 15, 2025. Throughout Early Access, Preferred Networks shipped a consistent series of major free content updates: fishing content in July 2024 (v0.8.0) and the substantial "Samurai Update" adding a fourth biome in October 2024 (v0.9.0). The 1.0 release itself was a major content milestone, introducing a fifth and final biome ("Lost World"), a final boss, Creative Mode, 25 Programming Shrines, and a large volume of new items, enemies, and systems — completing the game's narrative arc. Post-1.0, the developer has continued maintenance and smaller additions: a feature patch on July 15, 2025 adding sticker display and combat rebalancing (v1.0.4), a beta API release on September 24, 2025 enabling external programmatic control of in-game elements, and a security-focused bug fix patch on October 22, 2025 (v1.0.5). The cadence of major content drops during Early Access ran roughly every 2–5 months. The last major content release was the 1.0 launch on May 15, 2025 — now over 16 months ago as of October 1, 2026. Post-1.0 activity has consisted entirely of maintenance patches, a minor feature patch, and a beta API experiment — none of which represent a new major content release. The developer has not announced any upcoming expansions, named DLC, or further content phases, and has made no statement that additional major content is planned. At the same time, no developer statement has explicitly said development is complete. The established cadence of major updates (roughly every 2–5 months during Early Access) has now been exceeded by a wide margin since the 1.0 launch. The 1.0 release introduced the final boss and completed the game's five-biome structure, which strongly suggests it represented the intended conclusion of the content roadmap. With no outstanding commitments, no unreleased DLC, no announced future content, and a silence on major updates stretching well beyond the historical release window, the game is assessed as a complete, finished product from the 1.0 launch date.
